Just yourself, maybe a friend, and an enthusiasm to paint something beautiful! Think positive… This is going to be a fun experience! All paint, brushes, canvas, and any supplies necessary for completing the featured painting will be provided. Drinks and food will be available for purchase at the selected venues.
You may paint whatever you like, but please remember the step-by-step instruction is specifically for the featured painting. While we encourage all of our guests to follow along with our instructors, you are more than welcome to be spontaneous and creative. Unleash your inner artist!
Classes last approximately 2-1/2 to 3 hours, with a 15 minute break in between painting sessions. And believe us, time flies when you’re having fun! Before you know it, you will have created your very own masterpiece!
We ask you to give us 24 hours notice if you need to cancel. Cancellations can be made online or by phone. We ask for this 24 hour notice so that we can give someone else a chance to sign up for the class. No calls/no shows will not be refunded or rescheduled. We will charge the class fee for reservations not cancelled 24 hours in advance. So give us a call if you need to reschedule, and we will be more than happy to accommodate you.
In one word: FUN! Our instructors are professional artists and are very cordial and patient with our clients. They are aware that some of you may have never picked up a paintbrush in your life. You are in good hands! Come, be social, and learn how to paint something beautiful!
Some of our events take place at bars/ wineries/ breweries that do not allow children. Please check the calendar to see if the venue is over 21. If the venue has no age restrictions, feel free to bring your kids to join the fun! Private parties are the perfect way to get kids involved in PAINT-A-HOLICS! We have a selection of paintings available for our young artists to create. These events are perfect for kid’s birthday parties, holiday parties, special events, or just a fun afternoon with friends! Contact us for more details!
Simply e-mail us with the following information: the number of people attending, the date and location of the party/event, and the host’s contact information (email, phone number). We will send you all of our paintings on file, so that you can choose the perfect painting for your special event. We will even create a custom painting if you would like! After you choose a painting, we will confirm all of the information, and ask for a deposit to hold the date of your party. It’s that simple!
Signing up in advance is always recommended, as many classes fill up fast! You can register easily on our website. Simply visit the calendar page, and click on the date of the event you would like to attend. If a class is sold out, please give us a call or send us an email, and we will be happy to put your name on our waiting list. Due to last minute cancellations, we can more than likely get you in to paint with us!
The price for one class is $35 per person. This includes all materials you will need to create your masterpiece. Food and drinks are sold separately through the different venues.
We provide canvases, paint, brushes, easels, aprons, step-by-step instruction, and other necessary materials for completing your painting. Alcohol and food is not included in this price.
We provide aprons, but we do recommend wearing something you wouldn’t mind getting paint on… just in case! We provide sponges and fabric softener for accidents, but it may be a good idea to leave nice jackets and dress clothes at home. After all, art can get messy! PAINT-A-HOLICS cannot be responsible for any paint damage done to clothing or personal items.
We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to get registered, grab a glass of wine, order a snack, and select the seat of your choice. Remember, arriving early can give you time to get inspired and get acquainted with your fellow artists!
We like to post the schedule at least four to six weeks in advance. ‘LIKE’ us on our Facebook page to get a sneak peak of the paintings coming out the following month.
Don’t worry… PAINT-A-HOLICS offers so many incredible paintings we know you would love to create! We will repeat paintings as best we can, depending on the popularity of the painting. Some painting are more popular than others. We will always keep this in mind when scheduling for the following months!
PAINT-A-HOLICS does not provide alcohol and food at any events. If you sign up for a class on our calendar, the selected venue will have food, alcohol, and other beverages available for purchase. If you are hosting a private event, feel free to provide food and drinks for your guests… we will provide the painting supplies, the instruction, and the FUN!
You may not bring your own alcohol or food to establishments in San Diego County. Food and alcohol will be available for purchase through the establishment hosting the classes. For private parties, please feel free to provide whatever food or drinks you would like for your guests!
We always try to accommodate groups so they can all sit together and enjoy the experience. PAINT-A-HOLICS is always extra fun with friends! Make sure at least one person shows up early to ensure proper seating.
In this day and age, we feel it is important to be green… and no, we don’t mean green paint! We use reusable plates and cups, which cuts down on the amount of environmental waste per show. PAINT-A-HOLICS also offers custom services that many companies simply do not: commissions of any size, private instruction, and collaborative group painting activities. We are able to provide such unique services, because of one simple reason: Our company is founded, managed, and led by professional artists. WE LOVE TO PAINT!
